What have I done?

I think I screwed the pooch...now that I have sitemeter, and I can see how many people visit here, I feel compelled to be funny, charming and work on my writing skills. It's a little stressful. I'm sure it'll pass. I have to admit that the sitemeter thing is awesome. I had a hit from a European country today. Who knew? I sure didn't, but I'm glad I know now!

On another note, I'm back from WW and I'm down to 181.4, which is different from my Fatbloke weight. Strange, but true. I consider them to be separate entities, and life goes on. I'm feeling more back on track with food choices, which is awesome, but I'm struggling with the journaling thing. The 12 week planners don't do it for me...I feel conspicuous when I use them. I've tried using notebooks, but because I feel the need to transform them to be more WW friendly, they become too time consuming. I'm at a loss. Do any of you have a journaling system that works for you? I'm curious to know.

I'm also going to start running again. Just running. At least at first. I think that in the past I've tried to do too much when it comes to exercise and I get overwhelmed. I think I'm going to focus on the running, and maybe do some push-ups and various ab exercises at home. Once I get into a good routine with that, then I'll add spin or swimming.

Good news on the weight. It can be hard to kind a journaling thing that works. The WW 12 week ones work for me somethimes, and others they just don't. I haven't been journaling lately, so I don't really have any great reccommendations. sorry!

That European would be me (unless your site meter missed someone ;), and this also explains my horrible knowledge of English.

I use a ww week planner to journal my food and exercise. I got them from a friend once who went to the ww meetings (I follow the weight watchers points plus system but don’t go to the meetings). I scanned it into the computer and every week I print one out. It helps me a lot and is encouraging to use (‘cause every week you start with a new one – comes in handy when you sometimes get of track like me)

I have avoided sitemeter like the plague because of that. I write for myself because that's all I can do, so I'm deathly afraid to know how many other people (besides friends) read me. And yes, I consider my fellow fatfighters as friends!

So, good job on the weigh in. And on the committment to start running. And thanks for the kind words. I am really with you on the good v. bad foods, but I realized that as long as I don't eat past my hunger, I'll be okay. That involves no more eating in front of the t.v. or cleaning my plate. Last night I threw away 1/2 a veggie burger. That was a big breakthrough for me! Try it! I even had cheese and avocado and a bun, and I still threw it away! Yippee!

So, as far as journaling, I'm in the same boat too. If you come up with something, let me know. I want to get better about it. Right now I just use my blog, but I'm not always at a computer...

Okay, enough rambling. Gotta go make some salads for dinners and lunches. (((((HUGS)))))
